Limits
Trinity Penner What I want in life? Now that’s a big question. It is not, per say, what I want in life, But rather what I am limited to do. What are my limits, you might ask? It is this: Society is a bully, Anxiety is clingy, and Depression is suffocating. But what if, What if the noise stopped one day? And you ask me again, What do I want in life? I will tell you that I want to be the most loving mother, With soft, caring hands that will feel safe for them. I want to love with no restrictions, I want Love to place his hands in mine and nourish my soul. But most importantly I want to feel accomplished.

Cool poem. I like how you asked questions at the start to get the reader thinking. I also like how you looked ta this topic with a different perspective. Very interesting!

Good poem Trin! Your repetition of the question "what (do) I want in life" really created meaning for me, and I like you mentioning anxiety + depression because it humanizes the poem. 👍
